Today we helped my parents celebrate 50 years of marriage. It's an incredible example that they have set. They've provided four of us with a wonderful, loving home to grow up in and continue to be a big part of our lives (and the lives of all their 11 grandchildren!). We celebrated at the Tahoe Christian Center here in Tahoe City, in the very building that housed my family when I was born and that served as a base for the ministry that my parents started back in 1971. We had our family of 21 plus an additional 15 or so guests join for a cook-out and time of sharing with friends and close friends. Afterwich we had lots (and lots!) of family pictures to take.
