Great conversations including a review of my 30x30 list which leaves me in awe of the things we have accomplished this year! We had a small incident at lunch with me freaking out over a tiny spider sighting (I am not the outdoorsy girl clearly). But we captured some beautiful pictures and made it to our hotel before dark. Assuming the heat continues to work through the night, we should be able to avoid any additional "Carolina" moments ;-)

What are "Carolina" moments? They don't have spiders in California? :)
At least it wasn't a snake or mouse or fox... now, those would freak ME out! ;)
Oh clearly you have heard about my "Carolina spider" stories. I am a bit of a nutcase with spiders... give me mice and snakes any day. Ok, the snakes you can keep but spiders may be the worst. Remember that time at Aunt K's house when I was little and was bitten by a giant spider on my leg? Mom and Aunt K tried to convince me it was a bee sting, but clearly they didn't see the giant spider that had just been smooshed!! Ahh, the childhood horror stories that never leave ya!
